“My album RED is inspired by all the different, kind of crazy, wonderful, awful, exiting, intense, terrible relationships I’ve experienced in the last two years. You know they’re not, they were not like beige, it was either just like, intense love or intense regret, frustration, all that. It was like all of it to me seemed red and so I wrote a song called Red, that really, to me, kind of mapped out what all those relationships stood for and it’s always been the title of the record in my head.”
